Who we are and what we believe in

With more than 20 years of experience in microcontroller and digital design fields, knowing a huge variety of processors, we came to the conclusion that now is the time for significant overhaul of the embedded world. The advent of inexpensive ARM based micros with an array of versatile peripherals dwarfed the old designs overnight. The new one can be less expensive and delivers the execution speed at least by one order of magnitude faster. The power of LPC2148 (60MHz ARM7 32-bit CPU) with built-in UARTs, ISP, I2C, PWM, RTC, ADCs, DACs and more than 40 General Purpose IOs brings a totally new level of performance to the embedded control field. Available memory resources (both Flash and RAM) are so vast that good, ye oldie 8051 looks like a midget when compared. There is no need for tricks like bank switching and extensive assembly patching. Without any hesitation you can move to C-only programming and feel a lot of extra "breathing space".

They include "startup.c" addressing (always tricky) processor initialization/configuration issues and a "makefile" responsible for compilation and linking setup.

Warranty

All Digital Shortcut products are covered by a 6 month warranty from the date of delivery provided that the device was properly used. Repaired products are warranted for thirty days from the date of repair, or for the remainder of the original product's warranty period, whichever is longer. The customer must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number prior to returning the defective product to Digital Shortcut for service. The unauthorized alterations are not warranted. The resale products are subject to their respective manufacturer's warranties. We do not refund shipping costs.

Returns

We stand behind our products. If you are not entirely satisfied with any goods acquired from us we will correct the problem. All items purchased from Digital Shortcut Inc. are fully refundable (minus shipping) within the first thirty days after purchase as long as complete packaging is included and the item is in its original condition. Contact Digital Shortcut Inc. by e-mail for RMA number and instructions prior to returning any merchandise. We do not refund shipping costs.

All Prices are FOB Simi Valley, CA in US Dollars. Prices are exclusive of CA sales tax if applicable, packing costs and shipping charges to order destination. Standard domestic shipping & handling costs are based on US Post, UPS or FedEx charges. Overseas shipping is quoted on a case-by-case basis.
